Jordan Valley Medical Center Cuts Ribbon For New Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Jordan Valley Medical Center cut the ribbon on the new cardiac catheterization lab. This is the first cardiac catheterization lab in the southwest area of the Salt Lake Valley. This brand new facility will provide patients experiencing severe chest pain with an immediate diagnosis and intervention without having to be transferred to other facilities. In addition to providing services relating to emergent cardiac events, the cardiac catheterization lab will provide additional procedures such as vascular angiography, angioplasty, drug-eluting stent placement and permanent pacemaker implantation.
